Any one have seen this movie? While The Ring is not horror-flick greatness, it’s a good shot of gothic creepiness with enough unsettling scares that will keep you awake at night.

What do you think people........?

The Ring is a 2002 American psychological horror film directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Naomi Watts and Martin Henderson. It is an American remake of the 1998 Japanese horror film Ring. Both films are based on Kôji Suzuki's novel Ring and focus on a mysterious cursed videotape which contains a seemingly random series of disturbing images. After watching the tape, the viewer receives a phone call in which a girl's voice announces that the viewer will die in seven days. The film was a critical and commercial success.

The creepy exploration of the unknown and unexplainable is far more frightening than the violent killings that typify most horror films.

this film really did scare me. I found myself closing my eyes in parts and will freely confess to hiding my face at one particularly tense moment. Gory in places, shockingly scary throughout, The Ring is a roller coaster of terror with great performances, a good script and something above the norm for the horror genre.

Tomoko then reveals that a week ago, she and three of her friends watched a weird tape and received.
